An error occurred while saving the comment If you are using the Windows platform. I am working on a script that allows you to automatically build multi-line headers and footers with numbering. Text variables for Running Headers can contain text with numbering, as well as paragraph numbering only (when you want to show a range of numbers without text)
At the moment, the script has been tested with four customers and at my place of work (InDesign 2020). If you are interested, I can provide the current version of the script and instructions.
There may be some malfunctions due to different operating systems (versions of Windows), but in general everyone is happy. Unfortunately, the script has not been tested on Mac yet.
