Sometimes, the direct selection tool turns into a small square of code or completely disappears and I am forced to use shortcuts to save and quit until I restart the application. It is a significant issue in work flow and performance.

Whenever my computer and InDesign undergo stress with handling large files, the cursor will either completely disappear or continue to function as the small square of bitmap or code. I am updated to the newest version of macOS High Sierra (10.13.1) as of Friday October 6, 2017. InDesign is also at it's most current version according to the Desktop Adobe Cloud (12.1.0.56). How can this be fixed and quickly? Not being able to see your mouse while working is quite difficult to work with.
