Hi everyone,
InDesign provides an option to export and import User Settings, providing users with a smooth and enhanced experience to restore their custom settings if needed. The feature is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.3.0.058)

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedEvery time I re-open Indesign I lose my preferences.
I lose my preferred measuring unit and language preferences, I lose my preferred workspace and lose all my saved template sizes.I have tried to re-install Indesign from the Creative Cloud app.
I have tried un-installing and re-installing absolutely every Creative Cloud application, including the CC app itself.
I have tried forcing Indesign to forget preferences at startup. No luck with any of those things.

Another person here with this problem. It's since updating to InDesign 2020.
I have to change my preference to mm every time I fire up the computer (which is everyday)
It also doesn't keep my saved templates.
I've tried deleting preference files and all of the things on the internet, with no luck
