PDF security permissions password
With the new macOS Golden Gate 27.0 (and via the most up to date ID 21.6) when exporting to PDF from InDesign, there appears to be a bug which prevents you keying in a Permissions Password. The cursor is present in the box, but you are unable to type.
This is imperative in our industry, when generating printing proofs. Please fix :-)

Type in your password regardless > press enter > then type in again > enter it generates with a pword.Official : After installing Indesign 2027 Beta with the Ai assistant and this is what I was told.
"Interactive PDF export doesn’t support password protection in InDesign, so the Security section is unavailable there. Export a secured PDF this way instead: File > Export, choose Adobe PDF (Print). In the export options: Security, set the password(s), then export. If the PDF needs to stay interactive (buttons, links, forms), export the Interactive PDF without security, then add the password in Adobe Acrobat: File > Protect Using Password."A major backward step but it still currently works.

Yes - same here ! It's Wed 28 October and have only just discovered that it is an issue.
Hoping for a fix - otherwise it's over to Windows less friendly OS !
