Window jumps to maximum size in 19.2
Since version 19.2, InDesign's window behavior has been weird and wrong. With each mouse click it jumps to the maximum window size. If I resize the window, the next mouse click will maximize it again. Very annoying. This is only in 19.2. I have a Mac Studio M1 and a 49-inch Dell U4919DW monitor (size 5120 x 1440 pixels), so I don't want to work at the full size of the screen.

Thanks, Paul. I use "Moom" instead of Magnet. but it's the same issue. This happens only with new version of InDesign, 19.2. It must be due to a recent adjustment within InDesign.

Further observation: this problem seems to be a side-effect of the window-resizing utility "Magnet":

I have reported this bug to the Magnet developer.
As a workaround, you can tell Magnet to "Ignore InDesign".

Same thing happening on my M1 MacBook Pro. In this case it makes the window smaller to allow space for the dock along the bottom of the screen, even though the dock is hidden.
This may be a side effect of the "fix" for this issue:
