InDesign is still unusably slow
Despite many many threads about this, I cannot find an answer that solves this issue. I am getting a spinning wheel on almost every action I perform in InDesign. It spins for around 10 seconds and then is good until I do anything else. It is incredibly frustrating.
I am running InDesign 16.3.2 a part of Adobe CC 2021.
I am on a 2018 MacBook Pro, running Big Sur 11.4
32 GB Ram
2.9GHz i9 Processor
I have tried a bunch of 'answers' from previous threads but none seem to work. Please help!

I just updated my indesign and mac (also on a 2018 macbook pro) and am having the exact same problems! have you found a solution?
