unable to select the type tool by clicking "T" on the keyboard
InDesign 14.0.1/CC2019; Mac OS 10.12.6...
14.0.1 did NOT fix the problem with the text tool.

Yes... Same issue here. I'm on 14.0.1 as well. Double clicking is slow also. Frustrating because it just doesn't seem to "catch" properly.
