InDesign and other CS programs
Although I encountered a few surprises when using InDesign or could imagine new functionalities, I still think, that InDesign is more convenient to handle than Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and CameraRaw. Add a preference option to allow InDesign to give you PDF import options when you drag a PDF into an open InDesign window
When you drag a PDF into InDesign, it only loads the cursor with the first page of the PDF. In order to load multiple pages or specific pages of a PDF, you need to place the PDF and tick the box to show PDF import options.
Would be nice to have a preference to turn on so that when you drag in a multiple page PDF into an open ID window, it pops up those PDF import options dialogue box automatically. Of course, if it's just a single page PDF, it will just load the single page into the cursor.…

Export to image file with naming option to include artboard
Why, when you can do this in other Adobe products, it does not exist in the LAYOUT software?????????
HOW IS THIS NOT NATIVE ALREADY??? Please make this your priority for next update. I am sure many on this forum use ID for exporting several if not 30 or so sizing layouts for a single ad or social media space????

Toggle pages of a linked file
Much like the 'Object Layer Options', can we please have a 'Linked Pages Options' so we can toggle which page of a PDF/INDD file is shown?

Exporter/Importer son espace de travail personnalisé
Dans Photoshop/Illustrator, nous pouvons exporter/importer notre espace de travail et pas dans InDesign. Dommage car avec une mise à jour comme celle de 2021, je passe plus d'une heure à réinstaller tout mon espace.

In the Arrange option, may we please go back and forth from a multiple to one and back again without having to close one of the windows?
Last year I could switch views in "Arrange" from 2 docs to one, back and forth. Now, I have to close one to get full screen with the second and reopen if I want to see them both side by side. Can you please switch back to the old method? This is a time-waster and frustrating, as it used to be in place. Thank you.

Text Wrap path Selection
If we lock the Text Layer if it’s above the Objects’ Layer that has graphic elements on it, and we want to “Wrap” an object from that layer, we can see the Wrap Path which is Editable by Pen Tool & Direct Selection Tool,
When Wrap Path is active and then we want to select just an anchor point by making a marquee selection from outside (like Illustrator) to select a single anchor point the path disappears and we see disappeared path even mouse click button is pressed, every time we will have to click on the anchor point to…1 vote -

A keyboard shortcut that forces InDesign to look within its enclosing folder for links and fonts.
Currently if you are working with files on a VPN connected server InDesign tries to link to images and fonts on that server. Even if you have the full packaged file on your local drive InDesign still tries to link to to the VPN server. So I would like to see a way of overriding this, and I think a keyboard shortcut to force InDesign to link locally would be a good solution.

Fix 'manual bookmark' position
I'd love the ability to fix the position of a manually created bookmark in relation to all the TOC bookmarks which are all in the same panel, so that they don't shift around every single time you update the TOC. It is frustrating to have to move them around in a 80+ page document.
Alternatively, would love to be able to easily stop a specific bookmark from appearing in the automated TOC but allowing it to appear in the interactive PDF.
Finally, I'd love the bookmark palette or interface to be bigger, it's a little painstaking to try to drag…

Text selection does not work properly with inline images
Actual result: If you place an inline image in the paragraph and the height of the image is higher than one line of text, the text selection does not work properly: the height of the highlighted area is equal to the height of the inline image (in the attached sample three lines).
Expected result: the highlighted area should only appear around the selected expression, not two lines below it.
