Text Variables should support super/sub script
Text variables should support incidental superscript and subscript. Currently, even with using GREP in the paragraph style which defines the super- or sub-script and placing on a master page, the text variable does not support these formats in actual placement on document pages. Very elementary feature that should be supported.

This omission does not seem logical. We can sucessfully apply a paragraph style to the displayed variable text, wherever it appears throughout a document. All standard paragraph attributes appear to be honored (e.g. Font, Size, Color, Alignment). Why are GREP styles not honored? I understand the source content of the variable is picked-up without formatting, as it should be. But the destination of the content is being processed to apply it's paragraph formatting. The full complement of paragraph attributes should be supported.
