Paragraph styles frustrations
When creating a paragraph style from an existing one, please let InDesign automatically select the new one to edit, or at least let it retain the adjustments we made to the existing one. Because many times I edit the styling of text, then make a new paragraph style, only to find out I was still styling on the previous style, and not "New Paragraph 1."
Let us be able to highlight the paragraph style we want to redefine, without applying the style to the text.
Sometimes all we want is to highlight copy in the document, and right-click on an existing paragraph style and apply THAT highlighted text's style to it. Microsoft Word does this effortlessly, so why can't an advanced program like InDesign not do it?
