Give us the option to ignore certain instances of spelling & grammar errors, just like Adobe Illustrator.
Just like Adobe Illustrator, please add optional checkboxes to either include/exclude things like "repeated words" or "uncapitalized start of sentence" instances. Also... Illustrator has a section of the dialog box where you can optionally ignore (1) uppercase words, (2) roman numerals, and (3) words with numbers. This would be a great feature to implement within InDesign as well, especially since InDesign is the go-to program for layouts.

Please allow us to skip or ignore capitalizations. My font is all caps. I do not need to check for capital letters and almost the entire spell check is about case and grammar which I would like to ignore entirely. I just want to look for misspelled words.

Oh, my goodness, this would be so helpful. I frequently use documents with industry-specific hyphenation (like pre-construction). If I add pre-construction to the user dictionary, InDesign continues to flag the "pre" as a misspelling everytime I use it.
I have not been able to determine a way to fix this--I have tried to use something like GREP styles to mark that type of text as "No language" so that it will be ignored by spell check. However, that usually ends with me missing errors that should be flagged.
