More options for packaged files.
Here is an idea that I would think is relatively easy to implement, but would be a great relief to many of us.
So, I packe and indesign file and it creates a copy, an idml-file, a pdf and "sucks in" all links and fonts to a neat folder. Indesign operates under the assumption that this is the very last thing you do, but often I do this midway to secure everything, or to move to another computer etc etc. Or i retuurn to a finnished project a year later as the client wants some updates.
I would love the following:
an option to automatically close the open document and open the newly packaged document (so you dont carry on working in the old doc)
a feature called Update Package: indesign resaves the doc, scans it to suck in new images and fonts, and the option to delete those files not longer in use.
That is all, thanks!
