info: Your chat transcript will be sent to MIRJAM@MIRVI.NL at the end of your chat.
Rahul Sharma: Thank you for the information.
Rahul Sharma: Please allow me a moment to search for the information.
Rahul Sharma: Thank you for standby.
Rahul Sharma: I would like to inform you that there are limited set of colors provided with Illustrator/Indesign, for more colors you will need to contact Pantone.
Mirjam Pijning: Which is pretty ridiculous, since Adobe claims to have THE software for graphic designers
Mirjam Pijning: Pantone cannot change your product, can they?
Rahul Sharma: It is not about changing software it is about colors. There are a number of colors available in Swatches Library but when need a specific Pantone color it might not be available because there is limited set of Pantone color available, you can create a new color swatch in Illustrator Indesign but the name color swatch is defined by Pantone so you will need to contact Pantone to get the exact color you are looking for.
Mirjam Pijning: I should think that making more colors available IS about changing software. Sad to hear you cannot help me.
Rahul Sharma: I apologize for the inconvenience.
