Every time I place a new cross-ref or edit a broken one, it opens that "Edit cross-ref" window, which is not resizable, where a lot of space is wasted and where the most import part, the list of headlines to pick from, is not the biggest part. Then I would select a paragraph style from that very small list on the left where some style names may even be wider than the list field. And when picking from the list on the right, it is not sorted aphabetically by default. Please put something we can click to sort. Imagine you have a list of 100+ entries there - it can take a while to find the one you want. This is a base feature lacking since many ID versions.

When changing the page size, the current page content is centered relative to the new size. Or it would be nice, if I could choose to attach current content to one of the corners of the page, the same way I can choose the transformation anchor point (the square with the nine anchor points)6 votes
Thanks for this suggestion. I need a little more information in trying to understand this request a bit more:
1. Is the situation that you have created a design already or have an existing design and now need to change the page size. Any description on why you need to change the page would be helpful.
2. How drastic is the page size change. Is it just a minor change or is it something like changing from portrait mode to landscape.
3. Please share links to any screenshot of the document where you recently needed this feature. This would help us better understand this request.
When you drag text from the CC libraries into a text frame that has some text in it, the text you dragged won't be added to the line but it will create a new text frame.
I'd like it for the text to be added to a line in a text frame.1 vote
Thanks for making this suggestion. Currently you can right click on the Text element in the Libraries Panel with your insertion pointer at the location where you would want the text to go.
Once you do this you get an option of Placing inline. This way you can insert the text at the exact same location.
Let me know how this goes for you.
Allow setting of the PDF "opening view" properties on creation instead of after creation.
When I send a proof, I want my customers to see the pages panel, and view the files at a specific size and layout - Doing this has saved thousands of cock-ups - unfortunately it has cost me hundreds of hours doing the same thing over and over.5 votes
This feature already exists in InDesign, or are there some enhancements over and above what already exists that you are requesting here.
I have published several documents using the Publish Online feature in InDesign and then decided to change how readers interact with the online publication, i.e., allow download, allow sharing, etc. when such options were not indicated initially. Right now it looks like the only way to change the options is to re-publish the document and indicate the new options. It's a nightmare, particularly when a document published just fine the first time around, and generates error messages in trying to re-publish. I hope there's an easy answer to this.2 votes
Wanted to understand this a little more.
Currently if the user tries to re-publish a document the user has 2 options, either “Publish New document” or “Update Existing Document”.
Choosing Update Existing lets the user update an already published document, such that the URL generated remains the same. So in effect this should work very similar to what has been described here as a problem.
Can you try this out (if not already) and let me know how this works for you.
Is there a way to double the amount of line make. From a maximum of 40 to a maximum of 80.1 vote
Thanks for sharing this feature suggestion.
I didn’t understand this request, will it be possible for you to share some more details on this. What does “double the amount of line make” mean here. If you have any example where you can show this that would really help.
Hi. I have my panels on the right and would like them to expand to the left and collapse to the right.
I keep my panels on the right and would like them to expand to the left and collapse to the right. This option is definitely available in Adobe Illustrator. Seems like a logical feature and probably easy to implement.1 vote
Thanks for making this suggestion. I tried this out on my machine. What you have in the expectation is exactly how its working, or am I missing something here. Do you have multiple monitors where you are using this, a screenshot of the issue would really help.
