Add "Creative Cloud Files" Tab to "New Document" Window
Create a TAB for "CC Files" within the "New Document" window.
When you open InDesign you can select to open a file from CC Files. I have a lot of saved templates so this is a great feature.
However — once I have a file already open, I cannot easily load another template from my CC Files, unless I hunt it down in finder. This would save me a lot of time if I could load them from the New Doc window
GENIOUS.
Thanks

Drag text from CC libraries to existing line
When you drag text from the CC libraries into a text frame that has some text in it, the text you dragged won't be added to the line but it will create a new text frame.
I'd like it for the text to be added to a line in a text frame.
3 votesThanks for making this suggestion. Currently you can right click on the Text element in the Libraries Panel with your insertion pointer at the location where you would want the text to go.
Once you do this you get an option of Placing inline. This way you can insert the text at the exact same location.Let me know how this goes for you.

Make Libraries Panel Drag & Drop When Adding
Hi There,
I only use libraries for one client but am quickly discovering it's not that intuitive. It's great that libraries now isn't the default but when you need it, why can't you drag everything into it?
Obvious examples...
- You can't drag colours
- You can't drag text styles (paragraph or character)And regarding text, if you drag a text box, dragging it back should add the textbox with text etc. If you drag a text style onto an existing text box, it should only apply the style etc.
Just let us add anything to the library via drag…

Autosave on Indesign !!!
Currently in much distress due to the lack of an autosave feature on indesign. We artists and students should not be trusted to manually save our work. We just leave it up at all times. I know this exists on Adobe applications, this needs to be a top priority. Too many lost files due to this. Praying for a miracle and a non-existent recovered file. CATER TO YOUR AUDIENCE!

Enable "relink to CC Library"
Enable "relink all images to a different CC Library" (relink to CC Library) , like you do on your hard drive (relink to folder)
I´m creating catalogues where I reuse a lot of images again and again,.
I copy images from one Library to a new Library.
Then I want to relink this new Library to a copy of my Indesign document.Earlier it was easy to link all images to a different folder, but in CC Librarys it do not work the same way, very frustrating.
And with the shutting down of synced files folders it’s very important to…

Refresh Adobe Fonts button
I added 5 styles of Adobe Garamond fonts at fonts.adobe.com and went back to Indesign. They weren't showing up yet so I closed Indesign and then reopened it and they weren't there. I searched help and Google and couldn't find a solution so I contacted Adobe customer support. The Adobe agent suggested the following:
"Please close Indesign and open fonts.adobe.com and then deactivate those 5 fonts and sign out from there. Sign in again and active those fonts and then open Indesign and check."
By that time the fonts had refreshed in Indesign so I didn't need to do this.

add pages to cc library
my team works on multiple sales decks that use a lot of the same pages. It would be amazing to be able to pull a full page into the cc library so the team would easily be able to compile a new deck from pulling new pages out of a single library

Export All Comments
Hello,
I would like to request the ability to export all comments, whether from pins or drawn shapes, made on documents on assets.adobe.com. Once files are moved off of Creative Cloud, all comments are lost, so it would be great to be able to save comments for posterity prior to files being archived somewhere else.
Thank you.

Control the limit of up and download speed for Creative Cloud sync
Today you can not control the sync speed for Creative cloud on an actual speed like 10Mb/s or similar its more like Fast, Medium, Slow. on cooperate networks its better to set a fix max limit so not one user slows down the whole network GW. It would be great if this value could be set when creating the package in admin console

Decide what folder that will be synced in creative cloud
Since we can have really big data storage in the creative cloud today I miss the function to choose what folders/projects I need on my local device that has less amount of storage than my cloud license. So I suggest a function Microsoft OneDrive have like "free up space" that removes the local copy. Most cooperate computers don have 1Tb disks so today with shared folders you can fill your disk quick and you cant control it in a good way.

Allow using existing folder path for cloud sync
currently there is no option to choose existing folders i want to backup \sync to the cloud
so this makes the idea of sync useless for me, since if i would change my existing projects folder paths it would break things up in my projects files linkscurretly adobe forces the user to use their folder (under any path) and place the files there
very poor workflow !

Use Creative Cloud Library items in G-Suite/Google Slides
I would like to be able to use the images that we add to our team's Creative Cloud Library inside of Google Slides so we can have one canonical place for all our assets to use across ID, PSD, AI and G-Suite.

sort by name in CC library groups
It would be nice to be able to sort by name when library items are in a folder group in CC libraries. Currently that option is grayed out for the group view, but not for the view by type view.

Make Typekit fonts usable offline outside of Cloud app, just check activation sometimes
It's annoying that I have to close the applications (Illustrator, inDesign, Photoshop) since the Typekit fonts aren't available if I open them before the Cloud application is up and running. I get to work and open the programs right away and forget to make sure the Cloud app is already open. Forcing me to close all 3 and reopen all 3, waste of time..

Allow users to opt out of Typekit and CC Libraries
Typekit and CC Libraries are annoying and should be optional.

Smaller CC Packages please
Why do I have to include loads of programs I don't need if I upgrade to CC? It's bad enough making us pay this expensive subscription but as a graphic designer I only use InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro. Can't you fashion more selective packages? I'm holding out with CS6 but having been coerced by Apple into upgrading to High Sierra it's all looking wobbly. Adobe are the vanguard of the Tyranny Of Upgrade.

Share the templates (INDT) into the library
Dear all we already use a lot the library as we are a team of 6 designers working on the same bases. We already use swatches and images which is very convenient. It would be good to have the templates (rollup, A4 , webbanner ...) in the library as template the way we can just drag and drop them
thank you by advance. InDesign is a wonderful tool

Collaborate files in the start "Workspace" (quick shortcut)
In the Workspace "start' you can show your indesign files from de cloud. Called CC-Files. I like this feature. It works fine, but don't work with shared (collaborate) folder.
I see al my cc-documents in the cloud, except the files in the shared (collaborate) folder. Please make it possible. Otherwise, the idea of the cloud does not work.
Thanks

Change Asset Characteristics (Color, Style, Color Space) in Adobe Libraries
The Problem:
When building out an icon system in Adobe Libraries, you need to save a separate icon for each color variation, style variation (we have a filled style, line style, and multi-color style), and color space (digital vs. print). For our organization, there are 3 styles, 3 color variations for each, and 2 color spaces, meaning you need 18 different versions of a single icon. For large icon libraries, this results in a massive library and poor performance (icons with too many assets start to slow down and cause crashes). My Idea for a Solution:
