   This happens to me a lot, everytime I receive an JPEG from WHATSAPP. I think there's something happening about the image extension .JPEG, if you rename it to .JPG it works (sometimes).

   The ultimate fix is to open img on Photoshop or Preview (Mac) for example and resave it.
