    I also have this problem on Catalina, since ID 2020 on my mac desktop.
    I have tried the "fixes" from 2015 and they DONT WORK.
    I have tried calling tech support and the first time, they told me it was typefaces slowing down InDesign.
    Then they told me it's my computer. They wanted me to fix this problem, and I got so frustrated at them for not hearing me. The CEPHtmlengine thing is the worst. I wish i had stayed with my old ID CS5. I have also tried uninstalling ID and reinstalling it.
    Is there a solution?

    Why is there not an InDesign on ipad?
    I have photoshop on ipad, and I CAN'T work with InDesign on ipad!!! Super frustrating!
