    I'm a book designer having the same issues. Plus, any graphic on the master pages disappears whenever I attempt to tweak my master page margins and "Adjust Locked Content" box is checked.

    My newly created, custom GREP-queries are disappearing from the list now that I've moved to CC (2018) from CS6. I use them over and over again for complex books in a series. I do NOT have notes on what each GREP query is. I NEVER had an issue with them suddenly disappearing with CS6 or earlier version.

    In no document state, you have to uncheck "Add to CC Libraries" in every scenario: paragraph styles, character styles, swatches... <UGH>
