    I can also confirm this bug still exists as of 3-29-23

    I really like this idea. Every cad program I have ever used works this way when editing 2d sketches which is exceptionally similar to editing a 2d layout

    EDIT: why have adobe added this setting to only to Illustrator? It's almost like they don't expect anyone to use more than one of their applications and have the navigation remain consistent https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/31672087-zoom-with-scroll-wheel-pan-with-middle-click#comments

    Ctrl + Backspace should be added to the operating system as a default imo. It's crazy there are still programs where ctrl+bspc doesn't backward delete word
