I hope to see other Excel-related suggestions also to be in the backlog, e.g. importing (or linking) charts.

I agree. If you have multiple links to the same Excel file, you would want to have a way to see the source range for each link.

Hi everyone,
InDesign provides an option to export and import User Settings, providing users with a smooth and enhanced experience to restore their custom settings if needed. The feature is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.3.0.058)

I can only agree. This use of InDesign and external data and charts must be known by Adobe. Identifying the most common workflows and finding a way to improve them ought to be part of the product managers interest and responsibility.
