This issue is addressed with a new option "Honor Text Indents in addition to Text Wrap" in Preferences > Composition dialog. This option is ON for new docs created in ID2023 and needs to be turned ON for docs created in older versions of InDesign when opened in ID2023.

Ian Davies supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Ian Davies commentedThis has broken again with the 15.0.2 update. Correct behaviour 2 weeks ago, now open the same document this week and if you move a text-wrapped object, the indent gets applied twice on subsequent lines.
**EDIT** Helpfully(!), the images get displayed in the reverse order they were added, so the first image is the incorrect behaviour with double indent, and the second image is the original, correct behaviour.

Good lord, after reading the link below I've just realised the enormity of what Adobe's done here. Surely when addressing a bug that’s been around this long and will have obviously affected so many documents, it’s just a flat out *requirement* that you make the fix optional? Make the legacy behaviour an option that is off by default, but which can be enabled to avoid suddenly causing huge problems on older documents?? No warning that this "fix" was coming, no info on how to preserve the old layout under the new behaviour. This is beyond irresponsible by Adobe. Can't tell you how much extra time and work (which I can't *charge* for) you've caused me with this.
**EDIT** Obviously I'm commenting in the specific context of this issue itself, not as something so important in the greater scheme of things. I hope everyone at Adobe stays safe during the current health crisis.
