I see that previous commenters did not observe the behavior, but it is very real. Open in Chrome, flip a few pages, then stop moving mouse for about 10 seconds. Navigation disappears. The user is completely stuck. Would love to use this solution, but can't sacrifice those using major browsers.

This issue has now been fixed for the browsers which were showing this anomalous behavior.
Please check to see if it is working fine now and let us know if the problem still occurs for you.

Michael Kincaid supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Michael Kincaid commentedDon't think this is not a touch-capable/external monitor issue. Happening in Chrome on a Mac, which is not touch-enabled. Several other bug reports about this.
