Hello All,
Thank you for your support all this while. The issue is now fixed in the latest update of InDesign.
Please upgrade to the new InDesign 14.0 from your Creative Cloud Application.If you are unable to see the update yet, click on the menu (three dots) on the top right corner of Creative cloud app and click on “Check for App Updates”.

InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Tara commentedSame issue. Trying to make some quick edits. Basic highlight a number and then press a new number to replace EXCEPT when I do this it doesn't "take" unless I press the key again. Only happens on single digit/numeral replacements, doesn't matter how much I highlight.

Fix is available in version 13.1 of InDesign.

An error occurred while saving the comment Tara commentedI've also found that it loses any column settings as well. As in I had a text box set for 3 columns and centered vertically and then when copied and pasted into another document lost both settings and reverted to a 1 column top align. Needs fixing ASAP!!
