Having the same error occur when sharing document over a local (hard-wired) network. All users are on the most recent version of CC2018 and the same OS. The only "fix" I've found is to save the doc as .idml - not ideal but a temporary workaround.
We have fixed a number of crashes with InDesign’s latest Nov’17 update.
Please download the latest InDesign version (InDesign CC 13.0.1) for the fix.

Same issue here crashes every few minutes!
