    Microsoft Word does a better job with their text wrapping of anchored objects - at least it does what you tell it to. If MSW was robust enough in other aspects - I'd scrap InDesign and use MSW for this 200 page book with multiple objects per page. This is a real problem.

    Anchored object text wrap works seriously better in MS Word, and MSWord is not even a legit book layout program! InDesign is supposed to be top dog for book layout and design - but InDesign's text-wrap functionality is so frustrating!

    I'm trying to set an object style that includes a text wrap and have applied it to at least a dozen objects. Every single object is wrapping differently, weird or unpredictably. I'm doing my part correctly - I've gone through every tutorial, etc. over the years, and know how its SUPPOSED to work, but this flukey behavior with the text wrap is making life ****. Anyone know of another page layout program as robust as InDesign? I'm ready to quit InDesign over this.
