   Unfortunately, the Mac crashes when you want to create a new character format in Indesign. I deleted the default settings and restarted Indesign -Mac. But unfortunately that didn't help.

3. Indesign CC 13.0.1

   Indesign CC 13.0.1 crashes after trying to open/hit hyperlinks panel. I'm running mac 0S High Sierra 10.13.3

4. Since the update to Mac OS High Sierra, Indesign and Illustrator just aren't as they used to be. Failing constantly.

   Since the udate to Mac OS High Sierra, Indesign and Illustrator keep crashing and bugging. Lots of different errors. Many times telling you can't save. When updating a link in Illustrator, Indesign crashes when updating the link etc...

6. OSX Sierra/Adobe InDesign CC 2017.1 crashes when using fonts and high-resolution images

   1. Indesign CC 2017.1/Mac OS Sierra 2. 3. 4. We are using various Hindi fonts on the mac and designing .indd files, intermittently we encounter crashing with certain Hindi fonts. Only one font has shown stable where we encounter no issues. Also images are coming as thumbnails at first, once it is the full high res-image that is imported the program crashes. 5. 7. Cannot export to PDF in a Google Drive folder

   When exporting a large file to PDF which is located in a Google Drive folder, the background (export) process will stop with an error "cannot export to PDF" and sometimes ID will crash.
   Tried several times and kept on stopping. Worked well when exported to the desktop (or any other non Google drive location).

8. CRASH REPORT EVERY TIME I QUIT INDESIGN

   Now I have Ctrl Changes installed (software that tracks changes) InDesign produces a Crash Report every single time I quit InDesign.

9. Indesig destroys its files

   version
   InDesign CC for Teams 2018 (13.0.1) ExtendScript (Javascript) with AdobeStock

   Steps

   scenario: slow, instable internet connection or internet connection failure

   Indesign loses cloud linking to library assets
   InDesign freezes
   InDesign crashes
   Active Indesign file can no longer be opened on this computer despite restarting Windows + InDesign

   If the library is shared with other team members, they will not be able to open the file

   Only team members who are not working with this library can open the file

   If this team member now deletes the links to the assets, the other team members can reopen the file.

   Tests have shown that the crashes are caused by incomplete downloads of the preview or licensed images from Adobe Stock, which are displayed correctly in the Indesign as a shortcut in the Links-window and preview image in the graphics frame.

   The problem can only be detected by opening the images in Photoshop.

   Stability enhancement:
   The images from AdobeStock should only be linked to the Indesign-file after a complete download and made visible in the Links-window or graphics-frame.

11. Type on path ID CC 2018

    creating a path then adding type to the path causes the terminal beachball of death– tried 4 times, restarted app and Mac tried again. Force quit required each time. I was able to copy a path with type on it from an older document. Very painful

14. Using tabs with right-aligned text causes crash - CC2017

15. Out of Memory when printing to a postscript file indesign 2018

    I have large school yearbook with over 500 high res colour photos. Since installing Indesign 2018 when I print to a postscript file to then distill in Acrobat Distiller, I am getting and "Indesign out of Memory" error and the file crashes.

    This did not happen on the previous editions of Indesign.

    Running on Windows 10 with 16gb RAM and plenty of HDD space

16. When I move a picture in 12 page publication, it crashes. over and over again.

    To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.

    We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

    We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020.0.1 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

18. Find/Change crashes InDesign

19. After updating InDesign to 2017 the program just shuts down if I am trying to open a document, my collegue did the same and he has the same

20. crash

    After the opening of the 5° files Indesign Crashes, i have to open a massive number of files. I make a fast check on my PC and the system works with half of the resources available. So i think the problem is not my pc but the program. I have an HPZ240 Tower Workstation. RAM 16GB. Processor Inte(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @4.20GHz and the Hard disk it's an SSD 500gb. The operative sistems it's a Windows 10 pro. The version of the program InDesign build 12.1.0.56 release 2017.1.
