    GPU support on Windows is now available in the InDesign Prerelease build. We are in the early stages of development and would love your feedback. Try it out and help us improve.

    Download/Update the latest InDesign PreRelease build in Creative Cloud under the “Prerelease” category(Refer to “Prerelease_CreativeCloud.png” for reference)

    Anything that makes InDesign faster sounds a nice-to-have, but is the Mac version of GPU acceleration mature yet? The delayed update when you make a text change and then see both old and new versions of the text for several seconds is a clear UX fail. If this could be easily fixed they surely would have done so by now – or is it a sign that their initial, limited implementation of GPU acceleration is fundamentally flawed, and they're not going to roll out a comprehensive cross-platform solution until they've made some architectural changes?
