    I'm having the exact same issue. I can export a pdf maybe 1 or 2 times, then the only solution seems to be restarting the computer. I'm using the latest version of InDesign 17.3 (updated this morning - didn't fix the issue). It's incredibly frustrating and killing my workflow. All it says is "Failed. See Alert." And then the alert just gives an unhelpful "Failed to Export PDF."

    Fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign 2020 – that is, InDesign 15.1.2

    In the Creative Cloud Desktop application, click on the Updates section on the left. You should be able to see the Update available for InDesign. Please update your InDesign application to this version to try out the fix.

    I've updated to 15.0.1 as well and still have the same issue. I can overwrite a PDF that's been there for a while, but not one that was just recently created.
