Thank you all for the votes.

Can you help us understand the key problems that you face in the absence of ability to send an anchored image backwards?

What’s the current workaround that you have to follow?

What are the use cases wherein you need that the text appears specifically on top of inline anchored image?

This information will help us evaluate the functionality better.

Five years later, and this is still not a thing.

I must admit, it's extremely difficult to wrap my head around how Adobe does not understand how this feature would/could be used. There are a ton of good cases on this page, and, still, here we are, five. years. later.

    Here's another one:

I'm doing layout for a novel. The novel has dedicated Chapter pages, which only have the Chapter and Chapter title, e.g.:

    Chapter 13
    The Title Of The Chapter

These Chapter headers have a Paragraph Style, that forces them to move to the next available page, and moves any text below to the following page. They have nested styles, so 'Chapter 13' and 'The Title Of The Chapter' can be styled individually.

They also have a full-page illustration behind them. I need to anchor the illustration to the Chapter headers, so that the illustration stays with them when re-flowing.

But, of course, I can't do that, as the illustrations are ON TOP OF THE CHAPTER HEADERS.

Not being able to move the image BEHIND the text is beyond frustrating. If you expand the layer the text frame and its anchored image are on, the image is even shown as being UNDER the text. But it just doesn't display that way, because ... why?!

This suggestion has been around for 7 years now. Could you _please_ get around to it soon?
