Am having this issue too. One document I have open recognises the font installed. The other document that's open doesn't (even though they're the same font) – not even in the font menu selection. Don't have time to faff with workarounds, Adobe. Or making new files (especially if getting templates that have already been set up by other designers in team). Ridiculous, this issue seems to have been happening since 2018.
