    Generative Alt Text is an opt-out experience and is turned ON by default. The first time an image is placed, InDesign informs you that it could be turned off with a clear CTA.


    Closing this as As Designed.

    InDesign 21.4.1, which includes the fix, is now live.


    The update should be available in the Creative Cloud app. If you do not see it yet, please click “Check for Updates” to refresh the available updates.

    Need fixed as soon as possible, this is rendering INDD largely useless.
