InDesign 2020 not tagging lists properly on export to Interactive PDF
If a paragraph style is used to define a tag for export to PDF, all numbered and bulleted lists used with that style inherit the same tag, rather than the list tag <L>, <LI>, etc.
5 votesHi,
Please use a separate style for the bullets with tag set to [Automatic]
You are experiencing the issue due to an accessibility related bug fix done in v15.0See https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/fixed-issues.html
Issue fixed: List should not export as List Tag if another tag is assignedPlease let us know in comments section if it is otherwise.
Thanks

Missing ALT-Text in PDF
Since the latest update to InDesign 16.3.2 alternative text to hyperlinks and cross-references is not included in the <Link> tag of the exported PDF-document.
3 votesIt has been implemented this way as per Accessibility Requirements.
According to Accessibility Requirements, Alt Text should be placed under the /K Array in the Dictionary – please see attachment for more information.

Output intent broken in 2020
Seems that Indesign 2020 shouldn't have been released since one of the most important things is broken.
We tell our customers to use PDF/X4 to export pdf's so that we get a correct output intent profile in the pdf.
The problem is that it doesn't seem to matter what color settings I have, the output intent is always set to US Web Coated in the Output tab of the export window. So now everyone has to change the output profile manually in the output tab to the color profile setup in color settings. This is really bad and alot of…1 voteIt looks like the Synchronize Color Settings in Bridge was not syncing the color settings in InDesign. Changing the settings once again in Bridge sorted out the issue of synchronization.
Based on this information, closing the thread.
Thank you Anders for prompt back & forth communication and help in troubleshooting the glitch.—

Export to PDF crashes when Printer's Marks checked on in PDF export window menu (ID 14.02 )
Reoccurring crash from back in February 2019:
When I leave Printer's Marks unchecked, Indesign exports effortlessly.Crashing while exporting to PDF happens with any design, regardless of the contents in the design (RGB, .ai files, etc.)
I have tested it on exporting older designs that have already been sent to print with printer's marks, prior to this issue.
Note: checking or unchecking Bleed and Slug don't interfere – only Printer's Marks do.
(I have mailed all details in the crash report.)

PDF export name
Since the latest updated InDesign doesn't remember the the export name, it just reverts back to the indd's file name. It was super useful when using version numbers.
For example, when exporting from "file.indd" a "file-print (5).pdf", it remembered that name. Now it just goes back to "file.pdf" each time.
Using 14.0.2 x64 on Windows 10.

Text Form Fields do not export with inDesign CC 2018 14.0
Form Fields do not export at all in the PDF when exported in the current version of inDesign. I am using the same exact settings as I did before I updated, and links DO work. Form fields just do not appear.
To recreate:
1) Make boxes where fields are required (in this case, on its own layer, which is visible and active)
2) Using the Buttons and Forms panel, convert them to text boxes
3) Export to PDF, making sure that the boxes for exporting interactive elements are checked, and the dropdown says to include appearanceResulting PDF does not…
1 voteIt looks like you are exporting to a Print PDF.
For the Form Fields to work, you should choose Adobe PDF (Interactive) Format instead.Hope this helps.
