The InDesign team appreciates your valuable feedback and concerns. These go a long way in helping us make InDesign better for you and update it continuously to cater to evolving user needs. The app bar design was changed as part of these improvement efforts, and will also help us in introducing some modern and exciting functionalities which we have been working on.
While doing this, we have taken care not to remove any existing functionalities which were available in the previous App Bar design. These have only been relocated – either grouped along with similar functionalities (based on results from our user research) or shifted to improve usability (to provide a consistent experience) while working across Creative Cloud apps, especially Photoshop (Ps) & Illustrator (Ai), which are frequently used by InDesign users. An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Amy commentedWhen upgrading from Adobe InDesign CC 14.0.3 to 15.0, the arrange button on the top bar (along with other useful buttons) were removed. The arrange button was one of the most useful buttons when comparing and going in between multiple documents.
Now we have to go to "Window", "Arrange", then choose the arrangement. AND, on top of that, there is no option to choose only a 1-window arrangement. This is a huge time suck when trying to be efficient.

This is most definitely not resolved. Please reopen and place these quick buttons back into the top app bar. As designers, we are expected to be highly efficient to meet strict deadlines. I don't understand how these types of changes even get made when there is nothing in the top app bar, so why remove the quick button items that are there? Please fix.
