With the release of InDesign 2020(15.0.1), we have enhanced our recovery workflow which fixes multiple scenarios of document corruption.

If your file is still not getting repaired in InDesign CC2020, can you please share the document with Grp-idfile@adobe.com.

    Thanks,
    Adobe InDesign team"

Over the weekend, I was working on a newsletter in InDesign. I had been saving regularly and backing up to Google Drive automatically. As I was wrapping up for the day, InDesign suddenly gave me a fatal error and shut down. When I restarted, I was informed that my document was unrecoverable and the file was damaged. I followed every piece of instruction on Adobe's troubleshooting and I was never able to recover the work I had done that entire day. Even on Google, the last usable file larger than 0 bytes was from the day before.

This was what I found in the file report:
    CJKLayout.InDesignPlugin 0x5101 14 0 Load Failed

I finally realized it was taking me more time to troubleshoot and wound up uninstalling and reinstalling InDesign and recreated the portion of the file that I lost. So frustrating! Has anyone else experienced this recently? Solution?
