We have fixed the issue in the latest version of InDesign, Id 14.0.3
Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the fix.
If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud desktop application, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right corner and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.
If you face any problems with the new update, do let us know in the comments.

I have had a look on IndesignSecrets and there was a solution which helped some, but not me.
It says to remove the cache files from the following folder:
C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Adobe\InDesign\Version 14.0-ME\en_AE\Caches
Also, I have noticed that the limited number of undo's trigger after every save command. Before that, I can have dozens of undo's. Although as soon as save, it will be limited to max three!
Please help asap as this is really annoying and unlike Illustrator, rolling back is not the ideal and effective option.
So hopeless of the Adobe team as the new releases of Illustrator and InDesign has major bugs and have not been picked before the release.
