    Ravi's solution works. You just need to replace the user's name in each of the directory paths with your user's name (see examples below):
    sudo chmod -R 777 /Users/YOURUSERNAMEHERE/Library/Preferences/Adobe\ InDesign
    sudo chmod -R 777 /Users/YOURUSERNAMEHERE/Library/Caches/Adobe\ InDesign
    sudo chmod -R 777 /Users/YOURUSERNAMEHERE/Library/Application\ Support
