I was searching for a reason why indesign runs so poorly and came across this... I have a core I9, RTX gpu and Indesign runs hillariously bad... This is a must!!!

Introduce an option to add a border to top, bottom, left or right of an object, with independent stroke widths/colours . (Like you can do with CSS)
This would save lot's of time with repetitive tasks like drawing lines, or creating extra shapes to create a simple border around the edge of certain objects.

The performance of indesign is really affecting my day-to-day workflow. I have a powerfull machine and I cannot believe how sluggish, both indesign, and illustrator are running... Seems like it was quicker way back before Creative cloud was a thing... ://
