The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.5.0.084). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.
If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

I am getting this same issue from time to time
One issue experienced is when I open an indesign file from the server, do some edits on it, go to save it and get an error saying ‘indesign cannot access the file, and that I need to select a different location to save the document’
And that is with a direct save to overwrite the file, not save a copy
So I then save the file to my desktop.
I go to delete the original file on the server and get a second error saying I don’t have permission or the document may be open already.
However if I go into our server room and access the file directly on our server machine I can delete or move the file with no problems.
The other issue experienced is trying to open an indesign file that I worked on say the day before, only to get an error message saying I don't have permission or the file is already open, this then means I am locked out from the file. unless I go into the server room, access the file direct, duplicate it and then I can access the new duplicated file.
The main worry for me really is with the sudden change in permissions and being locked out from opening a file that I was just working on, and if I cant access the server directly then I cant open the file.
I am using Indesign V20.0.1 and OS 15.1.1
