The problem seems to be solved in Indesign version 19.4

This is so frustrating. I get rip errors in Fiery workflows, I get PS errors in direct printing, syntax errors in print workflow. Things that have actually been forgotten for a long time. No one pays for the work involved in avoiding these errors. And I don't know what's worse. This error itself, or the fact that there is absolutely no feedback from Adobe about this.

PDF export is an extremely important part of Indesign. And it is disappointing that there is no communication regarding the errors in the PDFs. The PDF export used to work perfectly, so it must be known which changes led to the incorrect PDF exports.

InDesign version 19.2 did not solve this issue.

I was happy to find an update to InDesign version 19.1
Unfortunately the exported PDF files are still corrupt.
Nothing hat changed. It is a real mess.

The problem is also noticeable in other rips. I had a printing error on a Fiery Rip with a PDF created from Indesign 19. Since you never know beforehand when and where an error will occur, this is tricky. And in any case there are costs involved. I would like feedback from Adobe on this topic.

The issue still exist in InDesign Version 19.0
I created two PDF documents from the same InDesign document.
With InDesign 17.4 there are no errors shown in our workflow.
But InDesign 19.0 PDF shows syntax errors and aborts the process.
InDesign 19.0 uses the same PDF library as Version 18.4 and 18.5.
So i assume nothing has changed in Version 19.0

We too have problems with PDF exported from InDesign version 18.5
    I also reported this.
Our PDF Workflow (Agfa Apogee) shows syntax error when preflighting the PDF and then stops further processing.
No detailed information were shown, just a syntax error. Placing the corrupt PDF Files in Indesign 18.3 and export PDF from there fixes the errors. Something is corrupt in InDesign version 18.4 and 18.5. Please fix this.

I created test documents with similiar content. The one created with Indesign 17.4 shows no errors and can be processed. The other one created with Indesign 19 shows syntax errors and is aborted by our workflow.

Syntax errors in PDF when preflighting PDF with AGFA Apogee Workflow.
Further processing of the document is then no more possible and will be aborted by the system.
I don't know what more info i shoud provide.

Maybe because the PDF-library ist the same as in Version 18.4 / 18.5

The syntax error appears after preflighting the PDF with AGFA Apogee Workflow.
Furhter processing of the document is then no more possible and will be aborted by the system.
