An error occurred while saving the comment I finally discovered that my layer was somehow made into a template layer, and moving my objects to a normal layer solved the issue - check if this is the case for you.

Issue resolved - I finally discovered that my layer was somehow made into a template layer, and moving my objects to a normal layer solved the issue - check if this is the case for you if you are experiencing this.
