Clicking and dragging ANY object blacks out the whole artboard. These apps are becoming more unusable on a daily basis. I updated because the version I was on was doing it too. Must be nice existing in a captured market!TJ supported this idea · -

Fix for this issue is available in the latest PreRelease build (20.1.0.28) of InDesign available via Creative Cloud Desktop application (look under the Pre-release tab).
If you are not part of InDesign PreRelease program, do the following:
* Go to https://www.adobeprerelease.com/
* Sign in with your Adobe ID (Email address associated with your Adobe account)
* Click Available Programs
* Find InDesign Prerelease and click Join

An error occurred while saving the comment TJ commentedFixed! I had to change the UI scaling to the smallest setting. After that change and a relaunch, the tool palettes expanded properly
An error occurred while saving the comment TJ commentedNot an "idea" but a huge bug. In Design 2023 (v18.0) just updated today. Since update, no tool palettes expand. The step to reproduce my issue is to try and use any palette. The expected result was for the palettes to operate normally, like prior to the update. The actual result was a stack of 100% useless tool palettes.

If there was a viable competitor to you, I'd switch our entire print shop over to it yesterday.
