    With the release of InDesign 2020(15.0.1), we have enhanced our recovery workflow which fixes multiple scenarios of document corruption.

    If your file is still not getting repaired in InDesign CC2020, can you please share the document with Grp-idfile@adobe.com.

    This has been happening to me as well. We have the latest version of InDesign (17.1) and we are running Catalina 10.15.7. I send the report when prompted, but this does not fix the issue. I get an error that the file is damaged and cannot be saved. Then it "recovers" the file and I can access it again. However this is every time I go to save it.
