With the release of InDesign 2020(15.0.1), we have enhanced our recovery workflow which fixes multiple scenarios of document corruption.

If your file is still not getting repaired in InDesign CC2020, can you please share the document with Grp-idfile@adobe.com.

    Thanks,
    Adobe InDesign team"

As of yesterday I can no longer open half of my indesign files. I get the following message: Cannot open "document.indd". The file "document.indd" is incompatible with Adobe InDesign (Error code: 14).

Sometimes I get a prompt telling me the file is damaged and Adobe can run it temporarily through its servers to repair it, but it doesn't work. I have the same issue when attempting to open Adobe Illustrator files.

I've never had this type of issue and nothing changed in the past few days that would warrant this to arise. I always run the most up-to-date version of Adobe InDesign 17.0.1 on Windows 11 Pro (21H2). The files have always been stored on Google Drive 54.0.3.0 in file streaming mode.
