Any movement on this issue? As a designer we have to adhere to brand standards for our clients. You know this of course, but this seems insanely critical to fix.
Like, by critical I mean my work has come to a screeching halt because Indesign does not recognize installed fonts.
I have never in 25 years posted a comment until now. This is really bad.
Any ETA on a fix? v15.0.3 did not fix the issue. Anyone have a workaround? I've exhausted all avenues.
Thank you.

I found a glitch in the matrix and a possible workaround until a fix is in.
1. Open the document that contains the issue with your missing font/s
2. Create a brand new empty doc with the exact same specs: size, margins, bleed, etc.
3. Return to your original document and copy & paste each page (as is) into your new doc
4. Be sure to "Paste in place" so that you perfectly match the original
5. You should notice that your missing fonts are now accepted in the new doc
6. Save your new doc and export your PDF as normal
Good luck
