   Fix for this issue is now available in the latest release of InDesign 2022 - that is, InDesign 17.4 version.

   I have the same problem as John Mortensen. I am working with financial reports and when placing Excel-tables in InDesign the cells with refers to another cell in Excel says "-1". When are you fixing this?
