The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2026(v21.0.0.192). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.
If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application, click on the context menu on the top right, and click on Check for App Updates.

Completely agree - this seems so backward that we can't create full PDFs with crop, CMYK conversion etc when using interactive. Going to be so much more fiddly doing the whole thing in Acrobat!

Adobe - please fix this!!! I have not once been able to cancel a background task - always have to force quit the program. Very annoying and disappointing.
