    Fix for this issue is now available in the latest InDesign Release version 20.1 (Build 20.1.0.71), available via Creative Cloud Desktop application.


    Please update your InDesign application to this latest version to get the fix.

    Your "workaround" is barely an effort.
    I have this issue for 5 months. You really think I did not refresh any of the folders? Or that I did not launch InDesign since then? I use InDesign for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

    Windows 7 x64 (6.1, compilation 7061)
    Indesign CC 15.0 x64

    File icons displaying as basic blanks after last update.

    I already tried re-installation from scratch and deleting user icon catch.

    This problem happens since 2005....
