    Sentence and title case options should be available in the style sheets, this would be helpful in create consistency in long documents.

    I share these comments. Adobe needs to change the way footnotes are handled. Footnotes should be able to continue numbering across all documents within a book - this would allow splitting a large document into smaller piece. I also have clients that want use the same number footnote on other pages/documents (i know this makes it confusing)

    I have this same issue using Indesign 14.0.3. The Footnote in the text is there, but the footnote disappears. I've found if I insert the FN, the reference reappears.
