    I was talking with Justin Putney at the InDesign Conference this week in Seattle and he wrote a Script that (when installed) appears in the Index panel. It removes all Topics and Page References.

    Install instructions:
    1. Quit InDesign (Script gets loaded when launching InDesign.
    2. Copy the file into the following folder: Applications/InDesign [version]/Scripts/startup scripts
