As part of the investigation into the cause of this issue, we personally reached out to many of you over email. We have so far heard from only some of you.
Of the responses we have received, the conclusion we’ve come to is:
This issue was intermittent, happened once during the course of work but somehow got resolved and has not happened again. This issue can’t be reproduced now.Over a period of time, this thread has not thrown any fresh clues on why this issue seems to occur randomly for some and then seems to resolve itself. So we’re closing this thread.
However, even though we’re closing this thread, if you again run into this issue any time on a consistent basis, please report it here on UserVoice (in a new thread) with supporting assets like:

Having used CC for the last couple of days I cannot see hardly any improvements that have been made across Ai, ID & PS in the last 10 years! - except why have you made these amazing programs appear like they have now been designed by Microsoft with too many Adobe help screens and opportunities to 'up sell' other Adobe products, software and even images (Isn't our 'beam me up' direct debit enough already). Having worked on a document for the last 10hrs in Indesign, the program will not save and instead takes me to a 'Print Booklet' page not helpful! - I can see that this issue has been 'live' for over 12months. What exactly are you doing with all of our money Adobe? Shame my Quark Express is now more than a bit out of date, because I feel like going back to something more stable - Any one out there want to give Adobe some competition - perhaps we can help crowd fund a new edition of Quark? I'm going to cancel my subs and going back to CS5 - CC is a complete waste of money and more importantly my time...
Correction...Quark Express is still going! £349 all in! Adobe please fix this basic requirement as a matter of urgency - this is mission critical stuff. Not being able to save your work and loosing everything takes me back to a time even before the internet!!
